About The Artist

Marissa Meyers is a St. Louis based performing who fell in love with the storytelling, inclusion, and community that performing provides at around ten years old. Marissa loves the theatre, but she also loves singing. She is a mezzo-soprano with a great belt!

Marissa earned her degree BA in Theatre and Dramatic Arts from Lindenwood University. At Lindenwood, Marissa showcased her diverse talents including: singing, acting, music directing, vocal coaching, technical work such as lighting, stage managing, front of house. Marissa was also a member of Lindenwood's elite a Capella group, Voices Only, and served as the alto section leader.

 

Those who have worked with Marissa describe her as hard-working, professional, and ambitious. You may have seen her performing at venues such as Six Flags, St. Louis, Polar Express at Union Station, Take Two Productions, KTK Productions (BPA Nominated for Best Supporting Actress as Mary Patrick in Sister Act). Marissa has taught locally and has her Missouri Substitute Certification along with her Missouri Notary Commission. She is also a member of the American Society of Administrative Professionals.

 

When she is not on or off the stage, she can be seen working at COCA (Center of Creative Arts). Some fun facts about Marissa are that she loves charcuterie, dogs, and cherry sprite.
